I am a budding economist undergoing my third year at the University of Kent. I have an interest in Development Economics and Econometrics which has come as a product of my early life in South Africa. I am engaging in new studies alongside that of Economics with interests in Behavioural Psychology, Political History, Geopolitics and Human Geography.

Achieved Distinction (First) in Stage 1 (first year).

I grew up as a volunteer in Cape Town through regular environmental and community driven events. I have some footage and media posts from this time in my life under the South Africa page of this site. I have always been involved in team and individual sports having played in the first team for Tennis and Rugby throughout my school life, whilst also being part of school societies such as Audio Visual monitor from a younger age.

When I'm not capturing my adventures and those of friends and family I enjoy baking Sourdough bread and practicing blues on the guitar. I picked up bread as the best form of a pet whilst living in student halls and as my starter grew and grew I was able to offer many loaves to friends of all different social circles! Since University started I have gone through roughly 38KG of wholemeal and traditional white flours and look to experiment with more cakes, with a perfected carrot cake already under the belt! 

I continue to find myself engaged in activities and groups outside of the usual through which traveling about has become somewhat of a daily activity. I can't imagine myself being held to a field of study or career in which I don't feel entertained, nor do I wish to remain stagnant for too long.
